7 February News-

Uttarakand Floods– Uttarakhand floods happen in the region of Nanda Devi National Park, due to glacier out burst. The glacier outburst caused sudden overflow of water from lake above in the mountains which resulted into sudden floods. It caused flooding in Rishiganga, Dhauliganga river, the tributaries of Ganga river.

Till 13 Feb., 36 people confirmed dead due to the floods. Rescue missions have been going on to save the people caught in Tapovan tunnel.

India at third place to give highest Covi-19 Vaccines- Till 7 Feb, India vaccinated over 58 lakh healthcare workers and now is at third place to give most no. of vaccines. USA and UK remained ahead of India.

8 February News –

Massive Crowds protest against Military Coup in Myanmar– On Feb. 1, military channel of Myanmar announced the house arrest of PM Aung Sang Suu Kyi for the charges of fraud in Election held last year. Military announced that it took over the rue of Myanmar for the next 1 year.

Against this military coup, people have come on the roads to protest against it. Workers went on Nationwide strike on 8 Feb. Internet is banned in the country still protests are increasing in the capital of Myanmar. More and more people are joining protests against the military coup and to bring back democracy.

9 February News

R-Day violence accused, Deep Sidhu arrested by Delhi Police– Republic day violence accused and instigator of Flag incident on Red Fort, Deep Sidhu arrested by Delhi Police Special Cell on Tuesday. Actor turn activist Deep Sidhu was main accused of Republic Day violence also Delhi police had announced 1 Lakh cash reward on him.

Opposition Leader Ghulam Nabi Azad Farewell – Opposition leader of Rajya Sabha, Ghulam Nabi Azad’s retirement is on 15 Feb. Many leaders from opposition and ruling party bid aideu Ghulam Nabi Azad, including PM Modi. PM Modi give tearful farewell speech for Ghulam Nabi Azad and remember the time and incidents with him.

Virat and Co. Loses First test! After the great win in Gabba, India team’s series didn’t start well with England and it lost first test match to England by 277 runs. Joe Root’s double hundred in first innings helped England to post a big score of 578. India team only managed to make 337 in first innings. But then got target of 420 runs with Ashwin taking 6 wickets in second innings of E3ngland. India get out at 192 in second innings losing match by 277 runs.

Rajiv Kapoor Died – Son of Great actor Raj Kapoor and Brother of Shami Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor, Rajiv Kapoor died ate age of 58 due to hearth attack. He was actor and producer in his Bollywood career.

10 February News –

PM receives call from Canadian PM -PM Narendra Modi posted on social media that he received call from Canadian PM Justin Trudeau and they talked about Covid Vaccines demand of Canada and other issues. Here’s the tweet!

Decreasing No. of Covid-19 Cases in the country – As the vaccination drive has begun, the no. of cases are decreasing in the country and it is really good. India become the fastest country to vaccinate 70 lakh people in the country leaving behind UK and USA.

The daily new cases fall below 10,000 mark for the third time this month.

13 February News

India’s second test with England – India won toss today and choose to bat first but Indian opener Shubhman Gill got out on duck. Still, Rohit Sharma looked strong and seen the wicket falling on the other end of Pujara and Kohli. India is now 5 wickets down with Ashwin and Pant on crease. Highest scorers are Rohit with 161 runs and Rahane with 67 for first day.

Earthquake of Magnitude 6.1 hits North India – Earthquake of Magnitude 6.1 hits Amritsar and North Area including Delhi, Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir. Earthquake originally hit Tajikistan at around 10:35 PM with magnitude of 6.3.
